TelForce Group is looking for 15-25 Tower Technicians for local long-term immediate work in Minneapolis, MN. Work will begin October 1.

Perform intermediate level Tower Tech tasks proficiently ensuring all jobs are completed quickly, accurately and efficiently. We need Foreman, Top Hands and Level II tower hands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for rigging the top independently
• Climbing every day to improve skills
• Finish on top independently as needed
• Proficient with Gin Pole
• Competent using a digital camera
• Perform tasks of Tower Tech 1 as needed and lead by example to facilitate timely job completion
• Learn and assist with Tower Tech 3 tasks; fill in for Tower Tech 3 as needed
• Understand and comply with DOT regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

 Safety and Training Requirements:

RF, PPE, Fall Protection, Right-to-know, Comtrain, Aerial Lift, Hand and Power Tools, Safe Lifting, CAD Welding, CPR First Aid, Crane Rigging, Crane Signaling, Battery Spill Cleanup, Capstan Hoist Training, Gin Pole

 Qualifications:

• One year certificate from college/technical school or 6+ months related experience; Foreman 3-5 years experience, Top Hands 1-3 years experience, Tech II 6 months experience
• Use hand and power tools proficiently
• Follow directions well
• Learn basic tasks well
• DOT health card
• Training in RF, Comtrain, First Aid, CPR – we will re-certify
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
• Ability to travel and work weekends as needed
