Hello all,
Just some thoughts for you. To follow-up with my tweet, “Have a wonderful New Year full of love, hope, and romance! Age is not a factor here, but attitude is!”
Most of you work in the wireless industry, this is a tough field, but we can make improvements and keep a positive attitude. I know, easier said than done, but make an effort for yourself, I think it will help you in the long run. To have a positive attitude in life will really help you out, optimism is contagious. I am not saying that we should smile when crappy things happen because we should ignore it. I am saying that even though things are tough or something goes wrong you should learn from it and remember that things will get better. Bad things happen in life, we all get angry, but things get better. We get over bad things. We can learn from the good and bad times to make the future brighter. A little optimism can go along way. Don’t ignore the bad, learn from it and use it as a reference to realize things are better now.
I think we should look forward to a new beginning, even if it is a continuation of what we have been working on. After all, we didn’t just scrap everything in one day did we? Here is our opportunity to look ahead and decide what to keep and what to improve and what to add to our lives. It sounds so easy, but changing our habits will be hard. You can only take it one day a time. I have found that if I write things down and put them where I can see them, then that new thing will become a habit. Habits are hard to break and hard to create. I need help, even if it’s something I need to look at everyday to remind me to improve myself.
This doesn’t have to be on New Years Day, or your birthday, This can be any day you decide to do something new to better your life. Sometimes our current situation can be improved. Maybe you have set a goal, something you would like to do. It doesn’t matter what other people think of it, it only matters what you really want to do, as long as it does hurt anyone, you will be fine. For some people it’s health, money, or relationships, but this could be anything you desire.
